COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Vaccine

The COVID-19 (2023-2024 Formula) vaccine is available at the Immunization and Travel Clinic at Denver Health, and other locations throughout the state of Colorado. We offer COVID-19 vaccines by Moderna for patients aged 6 months and up.

Vaccines offered:

  • Moderna (2023-2024 Formula)*

Currently, all Coloradans aged 6 months and over are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. These vaccines are safe and effective and can be administered on the same day as other vaccines, including the flu. They are still important for protecting individuals and communities from the spread of the virus and to decrease hospitalizations and severe illness. Everyone is eligible for COVID-19 services, no matter their immigration status. A Social Security number and/or government ID may be requested but is NOT required to get a vaccine.

*If you are 65 years of age and older and haven't received a 2023-2024 formula vaccine in the last four months, you can receive a second dose of the 2023-2024 formula.

COVID-19 vaccines are no longer free since the federal public health emergency declaration ended in May of 2023. Out-of-pocket costs will vary under different insurance plans. For individuals without insurance, COVID-19 vaccines are available at the Immunization Clinic at no cost through the Bridge Access Program through December 31, 2024.
