- Getting the COVID-19 vaccine in Colorado
Currently, all Coloradans aged 6 months and over are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. These vaccines are safe and effective and can be administered on the same day as other vaccines, including the flu. They are still important for protecting individuals and communities from the spread of the virus and to decrease hospitalizations and severe illness. Everyone is eligible for COVID-19 services, no matter their immigration status. A Social Security number and/or government ID may be requested but is NOT required to get a vaccine.
COVID-19 vaccines are no longer free since the federal public health emergency declaration ended in May of 2023. Out-of-pocket costs will vary under different insurance plans.
